Dr. Rick Willis began serving as the Pastor of FBC Lampasas in May of 2004. Rick received his Ph.D. in Historical Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX in 1995, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1988, and a BS in Speech Communication from Howard Payne University in 1982.

Rick is married to D’Anne (Carter) Willis for 40 years, and they have an adult son, Carter. D’Anne holds a BA in Religion and Social Work from Houston Baptist University. She is currently involved in the community with the Lampasas Public Library, leading the FBC Lampasas children’s choir, and as a leader with the Arnold Street ladies community Bible study.

Since 2021, Rick has taught as an adjunct professor at Howard Payne University. His hobbies include golf, playing the ukulele, and using and tinkering with vintage typewriters.

Marc Ramsour began serving as the Family Minister of FBC Lampasas in June of 2023. He has received his Master of Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX in 2000, and BBA in Marketing from Baylor University in 1997.

Marc is married to Holly (Watkins) Ramsour for 25 years, and they have 3 amazing daughters, Kaylee, Kariss, and Kellyn. Holly holds a BS in Psychology and Teaching Certification from Baylor University. She has taught at all levels from high school down to preschool in Texas, Virginia, and Georgia.

Marc's hobbies include outdoor activities, reading, and cheering on the Baylor Bears, Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Rangers.

Julie Smith is a native of Texas. She holds an Associates degree in Data Processing from McClennan Community College (Waco, TX). Julie came to FBC Lampasas as a part of the Ministry Staff in October 2008.

She is married to Kevin, and they have two adult boys and four beautiful grandchildren. In her free time, Julie enjoys travel, gardening, and logic puzzles.

Neill Herndon is a native of Houston, Texas. He holds an Associates of Arts in Music Degree from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelors Degree in History from Hawaii Pacific University. A professional pianist, he served for 24 years in the United States Air Force Bands and Music program. He has served the Lord in various music ministry positions in Beaumont and San Antonio, Texas, Japan, Hawaii and Germany.

He is married to Vicki and they have an adult son and two grandchildren. He enjoys cooking, gardening, and historical research.

Lindsay Black is a native of Texas. She holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a Specialization in Accounting from Wayland Baptist University (Plainview, TX). Lindsay began working as a teacher at First Baptist Church Preschool and Kindergarten in 2011 before becoming the Director in 2013. She is married to Kyle, and they have two children. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys taking walks, gardening, learning new things, writing, and spending time with family.
